Unfortunately I have checked again and the only numbers written anywhere on the stereo are the ones quoted. No Barcode number. Thanks for your help though. I expect that this means no one else on the forum will be able to help either?

It's an old model Ford 2007 cassette player. The numbers on the barcode sticker (heading is Ford Sound 2000) is FD 2007 K 0094839

There is also a sticker on the side:

Any other letters in front of the numbers? Also, if it's an original ford radio, what sort of year is the car?
