I have a 4000 rds Ford stereo needing a code due to the battery going flat

serial number is : M173937

If this is any use any idea how much it would cost to get it decoded? as she is not happy with it as it doesn't play MP3 but that will cost her £100 which she doesn't have having bought the car!!

I am afraid I don't know how much it would cost. The first thing I would do is pull it out again and re-check the serial. There are lots of zeros which can be confused due to the silly font they use. Also look for the etched number on the side, you never know :eek:
