Post the 14 character Serial Number (normally stamped in the metal casing ) usually beginning with RG + + + + + + + + + + + + or PH or similar

can anyone help...am new on this site, and trying to get a code for my Ford radio. Nothing written in manual, and garage wants to charge me £30.

would be really grateful for any help.

Im really sorry to hassle you again. Thanks for the code, but have just gone to put it in my radio and the digits 0 & 8 aren't there to press...I only have digits 1,2,3,4,5,6, lots of other digits, but no other numbers. Any ideas?
Im a bit useless at all this kind of stuff! Obviously!. am sure its an easy answer as to what to do!!

Press button 1 till 0 shows
Press button 2 till 8 shows
press button 3 till 4 shows
Press button 5 till 7 shows
when 0847 showing press and hold button 5 for a few seconds (sterio may 'beep'
