I just had the car battery replaced only to find that the code supplied with the car does not work, please help! The serial number is m133983.

I presume that if the original code you have does not work then you have removed the unit to get the serial number!

If so then 3132 is what you are looking for. If this is the same as the code you already have then try pressing button 6 and 1 (later models, this will give the code) or remove the unit to get serial number

Thanks very much for the quick reply, I did indeed have to take out the unit to get the serial number! I've just tried the code that you supplied and I now have a working radio!

Hi,

I've recently bought 98 Ford Fiesta but the '3000 Traffic' radio it is coming up 'CODE'. I've taken the unit out of the dash and the serial number is M050601. Can someone help?

Hi,bit of a newbie to forums so plz be patient.I see that you have all been helpfull with stereo code problems and wondered if you could do the same for me. I have a 2002 vauxall astra with a standard vdo cd radio.te code on the side is gm050062590423. the code i have scribbles in my paperwork is wrong and the dealer wants to charge silly money. thanks Jon
