Evening all,
I recently had to replace the car battery in my Focus, and the result is that my car radio (6000 CD RDS) now wants me to key in the keycode.
According to my manual the keycode is 6161, but the radio gives me the two-fingered salute when I key it in.
The serial is: M407875
I'm certain I've used the 6161 keycode before without any issues. Also, if I press the CD button it displays the names of two people! I have no idea who they are. Most odd!
Any help would be really appreciated!
Thank you!0 -

Maybe the serial number would make it clearer;)[/QUOTE
:rotfl: Sorry!
Actually, how do I get the serial number? And also, by it not working at all would that mean that it's a code issue?0 -

6161 is the correct code for the Serial Number quoted.....but this may be the wrong number.
The correct Serial Number is the one found on a label on the radio casing.0 -

Check the link in my signature on how to get the unit out to find the serial number but first once you have power to the unit try pressing 1 and 6, on some newer models this shows the serial0
