There should also be a 14 character Serial Number (Example :
RG++++++++++++ usually found stamped in the metal casing)

I have found a number stamped on the metal.

RG594F11164057

I'm sure the last number is a seven.

Hi , like others i had the battery replaced and although the guy at Halfords put some gizmo in the lighter socket to preserve the power ....it didn't quite work...and now i have to input the code

The car is a ford Mondeo and the serial number is M118023
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I have taken out the battery of my Ford KA and now realise that I don't have the security code.

The model is a 5000, no M019719.

Can anyone help with the security code please.
