Car Radio Unlocking

Hi i have got a ford focus which needed a new battery and guess what i also need code for my radio , its a 6000CD RDS E-O-N .
I have taken the radio out but the sticker on the side is missing!!
the only numbers i can find is stamped in the casing (very faint)
FD600AM155165
I have tried code number 2288 as this was written in radio instruction book but it didnt work , i guess it might not be the original radio for car.

maybe you could help then... i'm a die hard ford fan. finally got my wife to get a mondeo, and she left the lights on, had to jump start it, and the good old stereo code locked in

stereo model is-cd 600o (fd600n)
serial number is m221362

i have a 2004 ford focus with the 6000RDS cd player. I had the battery replaced
a few weeks ago and lost use of my radio. Could any1 please help me with the code?

i was changing the battery in my ford puma now its telling me it needs the stereo code?

the serial number is M017579

I am new to this site and not sure how to post a thread, so hope this gets on. I am looking for a code for my Ford Mondeo Radio. Serial Nos is M037439 and model of radio is FD5000. My local dealer wants to charge me £20.00.
