However if you try contacting a Volvo Main Dealer and can quote the car`s VIN number + radio number , they quite often provide this information for free ( Try different Main Dealers if you are not successful at your local dealer)

Otherwise you will have to use a Decoding Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Have checked HoofeHearted code and (as I expected!) it is the correct one for this serial number.

It is possible, in fact more than likely, that the unit has been decoded by hooking up to a PC and recoding it. If this is the case then sorry we will not be able to help you.

May be worth entering the code untill you get the tenth lock. This will disable the unit. Then switch it on and leave it till it resets, this could take up to an hour (hope you trust your neighbours!) then try the code HoofeHearted gave.

If this does not work then I'm afraid it's back to a local decoder to have it recoded

sometimes it's not button 5 to enter the code. On my radio it was the "select" button
