i have a astra stereo that requires the code, these are all the numbers on the unit can anyone help please. disconnected the power and dont have the code.

Unfortunately the majority of SIEMENS/VDO codes (including your CDR500) will NOT be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database…which is not commercially available..

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

I have just bought a new 2008 focus zetec and there is no manual or key, and guess what, the stereo says CODE.
Ive just spent an hour removing the 6000CD and the serial number is:

V017245

Can anyone help with the code?

Sorry mate we are unable to decode 'V' series units, afraid you going to have to Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

cheers mate. never used a forum before. its cool i cant believe how quick i got a response. know anything about reprogramming astra key. if i buy one of ebay can i programme it to my car? thanks again
