    Hello,
can anyone on here help me get the code for my car radio?
It's a Blaupunkt radio in an MG TF (Rover MG).
I don't know if it's the original radio or not but I think it is.

I managed to get the radio out of the car using home-made radio removal tools each made out of 3 large paperclips!!

There are lots of numbers on there. They are:
On the top (on a sticker)
    XQE 000380PUY
    BP2162 3 2109221
    FD083
    7 642 162 310

On the left side (etched in the metal):
    8 635 123 208 2
    >St SN<
    M5 X6 MM MAX

On the right side (on a sticker):
    BLAUPUNKT-WERKE GMBH
    BP216232109221
    Rover CD32
    7 642162310
    E1 022256

I think the BP number is the serial number??

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Rah

Sorry...I just cannot identify this radio make as none of the above are in my database.

Is it a very old model as there are a couple of numbers that look like dates from the 1980s ? (D.M.25-6-85 - D.M. 27-8-87)

If so then you could try emailing

    restoredclassic@aol.com

to see if they can identify it for you (for free)

    Mention this forum

It is a 1996 car. Have checked on a Volvo site and it is a Volvo SC-700 3533542-1. Does this help at all?

    Cheers
