The SC-700 is made by MITSUBISHI and unfortunately the code will not be available for free from anywhere on the Internet as access will be required to the original factory database..............

However if you try contacting a Volvo Main Dealer and can quote the car`s VIN number + radio number , they quite often provide this information for free ( Try different Main Dealers if you are not successful at your local dealer)

Otherwise you will have to use a Decoding Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

hi just bought a new car and dont havethe bloody code, cant handle this anymore, th number is m181279, if you could help that would be amazin

Different problem. Fiesta Mk 6 radio (4500RDS) was removed by garage to extract jammed CD. Came on OK when was code entered but then powered itself off after c. 30 mins. Wait an hour or two, it can be be powered on, and asks for code again. Cycle then repeats. Feels like an intermittent power connection problem. Any other ideas?

Odds on you are right aboutpower problem, if you can check the multiplug at the back and also the connections on the fuse.

Other than that, if you can, leave unit powered up for an hour then enter code again,
