Showing online as £119.99 but out of stock now, so looks like was a definate glitch. Hope some slip through the net and people get lucky!! Obviously, they have realised the error and corrected it. Maybe some of the earlier orders get through.......fingers crossed!

Customer services were open until 8pm, Iimagine they would have been aware and the item being removed from the search on the website (link still takes you there though) indicates that someone there removed it rather than it being out of stock.

Mine has moved to despatching soon I ordered around 6.30, I know it's not a guarantee at all, but it said something else before that so someone has moved it on...

I hope that the person saying they had called customer services was genuine and that mother care will honour orders of one item rather than the bulk buyers for ebay, we can only wait and hope

The people in Customer Services would not be the ones processing the orders, they will be women sat in a call centre answering the phone, they will see the same screens you do, they can also take orders. The orders will be on screens/computers in a different part of the building and by different staff, Call Centre staff would not have access to screens to show the huge amount of orders coming in.

They would have access to your orders but they would not see how many of each item had been sold and how many orders had come in. No doubt someone could edit things on the website (IT Tecnician) but they would not be able to see the number of orders coming in, why would they need to?

This will be done by someone who comes in tomorrow morning who works in the finance side. Someone is going to be busy tomorrow.

Mothercare website always shows stuff at full price when out of stock, so that doesn't necessarily prove it was a glitch xx

Blue monkey, have you ordered one/some of these? I dont see why you seem to be getting so upset about it and p1ssing all over the bonfires of people who are pleased they might have got a bargain? If it is an error and nobody gets them, can you not just let Mothercare do the p1ssing?

Because some people need to get a grip on reality. It was a mistake - there are glitches and there are mistakes. There is no bonfire to p!ss on. Rather you be told now than sit waiting for your delivery for the next week and moaning that it has not arrived and that it's not fair and how you are suing mothercare, etc....

Have I ordere one? No, there are none available for £9. Seeing as it is back on their site for the right price, it kind of indicates the wrong price was entered and tehre is no way they are going to lose £110 on each and every sale.

Well then I fail to see how this actually affects you? What you're saying is all guesswork, it may happen it may not, but we just dont know for now.

And if people moan about not getting them, you dont necessarily have to read the posts.

:rotfl:You have far too much time on your hands but you did make me smile! Perhaps you should get an early night in preperation for the mass of replies to posts on here you will need to make in the morning when as you say, all our orders will promptly be cancelled, and tell off anyone who bemoans the error.
