They have taken my £9 too, contract formed so thank you Mothercare.

No it hasn't. Contract is formed when your goods are dispatched.

After placing my order, when is payment taken from my account?

Only when your order is dispatched from our warehouse will your debit/credit/store card be charged.
However, when you place your order with us your bank may 'reserve' the payment from your account, yet Mothercare doesn't settle this payment until your order is dispatched.
If you have any products on a pre-order, you will only be charged for one delivery, even if your order needs several deliveries to complete. You will not incur any additional delivery charges, even if you buy other in-stock items at the same time as pre-ordered items, which means we will send your pre-ordered items to you separately at a later date.
So you may notice several debits taken from your account if your products are sent on different days depending on the availability.
This differs with our 'website exclusive' items, please email customersupport@mothercare.com for further details.

The 92% is automatically calculated by the system not the person inputting the price so may well be an error, plus stock system isn't updated real time so many will get cancellation emails unless they have thousands in stock. And the money is being held in your account, it hasn't actually been charged yet so no contract made.

Don't get me wrong I really hope they honour this as it will save us alot of money on something we needed , just trying to be realistic

Seemingly this is the correct price, over on HDUK some people have called head office and have been told they are working their way through the orders as quickly as possible. They have also said that they will not honor orders of 5 and above. They also state that they have been told that the other colours are going to come back in stock!
• Went oos while I was checking the review for it on Which...damn my obsessive checking! Good news for those that were successful though...very good safety, rated as a best buy at 76%!

Think its a glitch. Its showing full price for me now and my order is saying that my payment needs reviewing and telling me to call customer services

Now brace yourselves for the inevitable "But a contract was formed" / "But they took my money"/ "I'm taking them to court" / "they can't get away with it, I know my rights" coming from the would-be lawyers after people have received a cancellation email - which will happen, seeing they must have received thousands of orders and won't possibly be able to fulfill them all.

I do hope people get their order, but it's highly unlikely everyone will, so if the forum could be spared all the inevitable litigious moaning afterwards, it'd be nice!

It will be interesting to see the result of this. Someone on UKHD said they had phoned Mothercare to check this offer and they confirmed that it was genuine. We shall see.
• There are a few wind up merchants on HDUK, wouldn't trust everything you hear. I think someone called and alerted Mothercare to the glitch hence it being removed, we will just have to wait and see if we all wake up to cancellation emails tomorrow. Good luck all
