what's your mortgage rate?

4.65% fixed for 10 years in January this year. Had to pay a fee for the priviledge though! I find it odd that people will choose a mortgage without a fee and a higher rate as you usually pay more that way.0

4.99% for 3 years - 2 months into the deal.0

On the savings board people don't get out of bed unless they are getting more than you lot are paying in mortgages
.
MSErs appear to be shafting the banks & building societies every way possible.
There is even an ISA account to match TNG's rate.

I have just re mortaged from my BS basic rate of 6.74% to a tracker fixed at 0.34% above base rate for 5 years - so currently 5.09% and will save £75.50 per month when the BS actually get off their backsides and sort it out  and now I can overpay my mortgage without penalties and move at will
I should also point out that I did not have to pay for the product fee on this mortgage which is why it is slightly higher rate than I could have got if I had paid £700 in fees

Hi
I have a 10 year fixed rate, taken out this year on £72K at a rate of 4.67% with the Woolwich. Have 19 years left, but hope to invest over the 10 year period to pay off the mortgage at the end of the term0 -

It depends how large your mortgage is, we used to have a £33K morgage and it was cheaper for us not to pay fees.0 -
I have 3 years fixed at 4.99% - currently 6 months into it.It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.0
