I hope this is ok to post, as falady asked earlier on, but this is the link to the myspace for my boyfriend's band. As i mentioned they are indie/rock and really rather good

August's been a really weird month up here, hasn't it jackieglasgow. A shame when the rest of the summer was lovely. Never mind - sometimes it's nice in September.
Been a busy-but-good day today and I've only had recourse to painkillers once! Went shopping this morning then my mum took me out this afternoon for holiday clothes (and her weekly supermarket shop so I've walked round two of the things today!)
Will be at home most, if not all, of the day tomorrow as the boiler's being serviced at some point in the afternoon. Why, oh why could I not get a proper time-band? Ah well. Will give me a chance to start on my set books for the OU.
Congrats to all who had good news with the GCSE results today and hugs to those who had the other kind of news!Household: Laura + William-cat

I have come off the low carb diet as quite honestly I was really sick of eating so much meat etc, so joined Slimming World last night so that I don't put back on the weight I have lost so far. Can't believe that this diet actually works though as I have just had a huge tea of egg, chips and beans!!!!! We shall see. (was really yummy though:D)
I'm doing Slimming World too, but by myself at home as I'm too skint for classes! I love SW chips
