We don't have a car either Tenmah so they know that if they can't get there and back safely then it's a no go. Some of my friends ferry their kids around and jump in the car any time of day or night to go collect them and whilst I appreciate it's keeping their child safe, it's not teaching the child any sort of independence or responsibility.

My cats wont settle tonight, I wonder if we're in for a storm.....

You can tell I haven't had a nap today, I read that and wondered why you were flushing the toilet to get the printer to work...

can top that beanie, i've got water dripping though the ceiling where i have a sliding door to the dressing area/bathroom. The tenant in the flat upstairs is out and the landlord doesn't have his number or a spare key......

I'm not really surprised about EMA going, the bonuses disappearing was the beginning of it. Bit unfair for those that rely on it for bus fair etc though

That's really not good Scaredy, why hasn't the landlord broken in? It'd be a lot cheaper to get a new lock than it will be to deal with water damage.

And on those who are halfway through A levels relying on it who suddenly find out they're going to lose it. They should have at least kept it for them.
