why not simply ask for what it cost you... bag of rice and the restaurant meal (i'm sure you have a receipt) ...i'm sure you could get more but where is the honesty in that0

Why are people questionning my honesty? I don't get it? I can't think of any reason why people would think i'm being dishonest. I've asked for what it cost me plus some vouchers and a box of chocolates/flowers cos it was bloody embarassing and totally ruined my night. I could have leaked it to the papers and sued them, but I didn't. Good grief.Official Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Debt Now:

I don't think you're out of line at all, finding maggots in your food is an absolute disgrace! And it's a lot more extreme than the usual reasons for refunding food products...0 -
Mirtos wrote:Huh? It is true, I just wanted to be clear that I wanted the restaurant money back, but didn't want to over push it and ask for a new porsche or anything! IYSWIM!!
Sorry, I remembered you mentioning the maggots on a different post - I thought you'd exagerrated the dinner costs etc. Of course, maggots shouldn't be in food at all and it's horrid whether you were going to cook a banquet for 8 or a meal for just yourself. Yuk.0
