Hugs for you and your family kezlou. It is a very difficult tie for you all but I am sure you are doing the right thing by talking to your kids about your loss
Craftscholar Can you get a grant to sort out the damp? Maybe your local council can help..I hope you manage to get sorted soon.
Triker I need a list like yours, I might achieve more if I know what needs doing.

Hello everyone, I'm in dull, overcast Cornwall. I've kind of memorised the lists to keek our hired cottage gleaming. It's a lovely cottage and we are having a good time despite the British weather.
Ds2 was nearly a gonner when he got caught in a rip at Crackington Haven. The lifeguards were clueless but fortunately my Nephew saw him and hauled his almost unconscious body back to shore. It was very frightening and he hasn't been back in the surf. I've had nightmares and know I must push it out of my mind.
Train home tomorrow. Ds3 and Dd2 were very well behaved on the train down. Such a relief as there were plenty of kids who wern't!
Congrats to those celebrating GCSE results . DS1's are at home on the doormat.
 Hugs to those in need.
A cream tea awaits me ......0

Afternoon all. I have caught up but I can't remember anything.
I've done all the lists, though not necessarily in the right order. Still raining. A little bit of washing hung round the house, I didn't do any yesterday but I haven't got enough clothes to leave it another day.
 Hope everyone's OK.0

            Afternoon everyone
has been dull with a few sunny spells - have managed to get my little drop of washing out and its almost dry now.
Triker:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: ok I am seriously worn out after reading that list - but well done for getting it all written down - just dont try to do it in 2 days will you? Hope you are not too tired today.
Kezlou (((hugs))) I am sorry for your loss - I hope the children wont be too upset.
Aunty Crafty thats bad news - I am sorry to hear it - I hope the roofer turns up and the estimate isnt as bad as you expected. (((hugs)))

pigpen Freja will give you an excuse to disappear to another room - she needs fed, changed, she wont settle etc etc You certainly have got back into the knitting!
hellyboo hope it helps the wee man tonight. where did you see the fairy ring and how did you know - i dont think I have ever seen one:o
Dusty hope DS1 will be ok - all that cooking counts as flying! what time is tea????:rotfl::D
pooh show them where the washing powder and the machine is:rotfl: you need to get a blank page or sheet of paper and 'brainstorm' - just start writing the first little job that you can think of and carry on - or go round each room and think of what needs doing (either physically go or just imagine each room in your head) - you may need to go back and break down some jobs into smaller chunks to get the end result so be as definitive as possible - rather than it be depressing that you find you have loads to do I find much better if I get it down on paper (or screen!) then I know I wont forget anything and can see what the next steps are! HTH (((hugs)))
Mumto5 how scarey but glad your nephew was quick to react - hope you are relaxing otherwise.
had a slow walk to asda this morning for a birthday card and a little wander around the clothes but only bought for my niece.
a few bits of tidying up done and flinging too.
 toots xx

I've just rescued the "Weekend" section of Saturday's paper as I seem to remember there's a few recipes in there that might be good to try. Going to get them typed out before the paper disappears into the recycling sack.;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
