kezlou - sorry for your loss
Triker - Slow down! I got tired just reading that list
Phoned roofer this morning - spoke to his wife and explained situation.
Should get a visit today to at least assess the problem. Trouble is a good tradesman is always busy and I would really prefer to go with one I know.

Right - waiting for a delivery as well as roofer so need to hear doorbell so quiet jobs :rotfl:
Which means I really need to get paperwork out and see just how bad my finances are (trouble is I suspect they are not that bad - just disorganised)
I hereby promise that I will start a 'spending diary':o

Hugs and sticks for BDs - grab what you need

Love and hugs to toots Lady-L and Diva

Eventually got myself into gear and had a go at Living room, dining room and kitchen. Also decluttered 2 bags of clothes for recycling from my YET TO BE EXCAVATED SEWING SPACE. Thank you flyladies for this inspiring thread. It heartens me to hear that if you achieve level 1 all week you can notice it the next week. I still haven't got there yet 'coz too much clutter around - but it is decreasing.
    thanks again, cheers all
    Morning marchio
Well done on your progress so far:T
Remember - you have a goal to aim for - not just a sorted house, but with the clutter gone and the house easier to keep tidy -

You will have time to sew and a lovely sewing space to play in!

    HI All

Not been aorund here this week again. Am at home today, still to be decided if I'm working or off sick... my spd (pelvis pain) is horrendous, I overdid it a bit yesterday and was beside myself by the evening. Not had a great night's sleep. But with only 5.5 working days left I kind of want to get stuff done. I think I am going to compromise and do a couple of bits i've sent home, once that's done I will phone in sick. Should only take me the morning. I have a few little jobs to do, obviously nothing heavy or that I can't do sitting down:

    fold laundry from airer
make space in laundry cupboard for baby blankets
    WM - white clothes
WM - moses basket sheets, etc
    Post amazon sale
    post bday card
    post photo to dad
    post dvds back to friend
    birthday cards - a & c
    bday present - c
    wrap presents for A
empty more of the cot out
sort out bag for charity shop

The ignition spark on my hob keeps going off by itself :/ anyone know what could be causing it? I've turned the whole oven off for now because it was doing my head in!

(((hugs))) rach, I know how you feel. I really struggled physically for the last few months of my pregnancy and it was so frustrating not being able to do things. Go slow and take comfort in the thought that you'll be back to yourself soon after the baby is here! Wont be long now, do you know what you're having? (obv a baby, I know it's not a puppy or anything :p )
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

I'm with you on both of those. Spending diary to commence today (payday) and some decluttering - dot-to-dotting is the way to go for me, I think.

Hope the roofer arrives soon and the news isn't too bad, crafty.

    Morning

Miserable day here, totally different to where we were this time last year as its our first anniversary (although our 14th anniversary of getting together is in 2 weeks) :D

Been out to drop student at bus for 815 trip to Cambridge.
Walked DD to summer school (in the pouring rain!!)
Came back and changed even tho walk was only about 200 yards
Have washed up breakfast stuff and cleaned kitchen of all bits left over from last night.
Tried to get on computer but it wasnt having it so am currently on DH lappy while he administers his life saving techniques to PC
Will find the list once he has done that so best have a cuppa in the mean time

kezlou - big hugs for your loss

triker - hope you can get some sleep during the day, you still need to take it easy

rach - hope the pain eases a little

Big hugs and positive vibes to all our 'special ladies' who arent posting with us at the moment xx

    Cappuccino or latte .......................

    wanders off to decide
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
