    Evening,

Having a no fly night tonight as I'm a grouch! Not really sure why unless its more actual MT rather than PMT as Af arrived yesterday. I'm moody with everyone including DH who hasnt done anything wrong. It could also be the weather and realising that I now have 11 days off work and have to look forward to what will probably be a very wet few days on The Broads with the carrievan. I dont do wet and NEED my sunshine :(

DS1 has a brace problem so back to the ortho on Friday which I could have done without. School just rang and said he is one of their high achievers in the GCSEs and would he like to go on the Oxbridge week programme in September:j
Sorry about the brace thing but WTG DS for the high achieving

  • Crafty that is not good news. Can you claim any of it on your insurance?

I'm in a CBA mood tonight. Just going through a few old emails and deleting loads.
Unfortunately no, it's just wear and tear - TBH I knew the roof needed to be checked to see if it was still OK, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who puts that sort of job off.

I've calmed down a bit now - came in feeling really sick when I first realised (think I would have felt better if I had found the damp in my house rather than my neighbours IYSWIM) Still it's just 'a thing' that needs to be sorted - just wish my finances were in better shape.

    Morning!!!!!!!

Well i'm up, OH has gone to work with his pack. Just finished my cuppa, so going to get dressed and do some tidying.Only managed to wash yesterday and put a load of washing it.

Just saw the first winter morning dew, my feet are ice blocks, so its definitely autumn.

Thanks for your hugs, well wishes all. xxxxx
I found out on Monday that a very very close friend of ours died. It was only yesterday that we and his family found out how. He was a brother to us and an uncle to my boys. We and another couple of his friends, his parents were the last people here to see him alive. So its really hit us quite badly. My youngest keeps asking when he's coming back to see us, me and my partner decided to tell the them about his death. As we think if we try to hide it, it makes things worse. While if they know at least we can mourn together and help along with the healing process.

Oh gawd i've gone off on a rant again.

    Sorry all x

right off to get dressed and start cracking on with the housework x

Morning everyone!! I am a bit behind this week, but thankfully i did a lot at the weekend, so i don't feel like i'm living in a sty.

It's baby and toddlers this morning and then i will be out for lunch with my girlfriends, so not much flying for me again today. Tomorrow might be frantic! :rotfl:

I can't remember who it was now, but thank to whoever gave advice on the stains. I bought some cheapo bio liquid yesterday and my whites do look whiter for it. I'm going to get some nappisan to try for the more stubborn stains (forgot yesterday).

I'm so sorry for your loss, kezlou. Sending you huge (((((hugs))))). For what it's worth, I think telling the children was the right thing to do. It's good if you can all support each other.

    Hya all,
Serena your DD & DS are superstars, well done to them.
Dustykitten well done to your DS.
Kezlou I think it probably helps to get your "rant" off your chest. It does help to share a problem. I also think it is a good idea for you to all grieve together and eventually heal together. Children are also often very aware of atmospheres and will notice your sadness and will worry. Thinking of you as are lots of people. x x
Eventually got myself into gear and had a go at Living room, dining room and kitchen. Also decluttered 2 bags of clothes for recycling from my YET TO BE EXCAVATED SEWING SPACE. Thank you flyladies for this inspiring thread. It heartens me to hear that if you achieve level 1 all week you can notice it the next week. I still haven't got there yet 'coz too much clutter around - but it is decreasing.
    thanks again, cheers all
