I got my bankruptcy order yesterday... I didnt have any feelings.. pretty numb in fact.. I spoke to the insolvency agency in Leeds and they asked a few questions about any assets I have, car, occupation, bank details and thats it.. they then said they would be in touch in a FEW DAYS...
I wanted to get the OR interview out the bloody way!!!
Yesterday calm, today??? I cracked up at work, had a panic attack, threw up and had to cut short an important course I was on to take the afternoon off..

Guys I know how you feel, I had my OR interview this morning - posted here about it earlier today -

He could not have been nicer, he just wanted a feel for the reasons behind our bankruptcy, he didn't go into the ins and outs of each credit card transaction (in fact, he didn't even ask to see our statements).
Please don't worry about the OR interview - I know almost everyone here says it, and none of us believe it until we've been through it ourselves, but honestly, its really not an ordeal at all.0 -
thanks for your replies! Its not just me freaking out then :-(
in fact I was in and out of court in 45 minutes :-O
I didnt get to see the judge and the OR person I spoke to seemed OK. I am just worrieed about them wanting to take my car and reverse the transfer of equity I did in january to my ex partner to gain money towards the debt, I've been told they can do this :-O...
Hopefully I wont need to go see the OR in person, people have told me when they have gone BR and they have no assets then its a pretty straight forward process and ya get away with just a phone call...
let me know how you all get on...

Hi all
I'm off to court this morning(
Scared!!! But hopefully that feeling will soon go after!

Just been to the High Court and just managed to pay my fees and find the right room by five to twelve. So I might be about to become the last BR of September 2010. Will go back to hear the outcome at 2.30pm. The staff in the BR office were incredibly helpful and supportive, so once you manage to find the right place (security staff were less-than-helpful even when the main entrance was closed and helpdesk relocated to a dark rear entrance) there really is nothing to fear.
Thanks to everyone who's posted on here, I've been reading for a while even if I haven't posted, and everyone's experience here is invaluable.0 -

It was fine, even tho i was 40 mins late because of road works, the court staff were fine!!! Didn't have to go infront of the judge and within an hour i was out & bankrupt! Feel a bit weird really, even tho i've got the bit of paper i'm still abit worried about the OR calling! They said he/she would this afternoon but not heard anything from them0

Having read other people's posts about the BR processes etc and the OR interview I just wanna know if anyone has followed the same process as me
I havnt spoke to the OR yet I got a pack through the post today with a letter telling me I will get my phone call on 19th October!!!!! its so far away :-(
The OR has also asked me to post him 12 months worth of bank statements and credit cards statements!!! I'm so worried that he will pick stuff out and ask what and why I paid for it etc.. plus I will have to pay for all my bank statements to be re printed as I received them all online.
Anyone else done it this way before????
I'm stressed out now0 -
I went BR on thursday, had a call from the OR office on friday saying they were sending me out forms to fill in & i've got my interview this thursday on the phone, i just hope i can get whatever they want back to them by thursday0
