it doesnt say they are not included though - it just points you to the battery requirements - to make you think they dont have them so you buy them! on the actual box it has them included! mine from toysrus had them in!

yes both of mine working fine withstanding my 22 month old pulling and pushing him over!!!! so his batteries are doing overtime!!! hth....... although read that the lid one cannot be replaced you know "no peeping" etc as once they run out they are irreplaceable!

Do these things roll around when they are touched? Maybe the journey from the factory to the UK was rough and he has been laughing all the way.

No mine has to be pushed almost like pushing a switch - i wouldnt think it could just go off - my lo keeps huging him and he doesnt go off until a specific point is triggered!
