If you check on Amazon.com the prices are way higher than ebay.com so even taking into account Amazon's massive fees i looks like the better deal for sellers.
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

amazon take 17.5% of total if i'm correct plus their postage isnt enough to cover elmo so i'm guessing at around £50 there is no profit in it bar about 2 quid after fees n postage

    On £50, you get £43.50ish

But as said above, on amazon.com as an example, up for more than ebay.
  • I agree with clasics - I am also sticking to the bitter end - there is no decent profit to be made at the moment.

I thought that, but just offloaded one for 99.99 plus a fiver postage so well happy. Milky Bars are on me.

May keep my other few till the end though.

No hurt in advertising them now though

why wont amazon let us sell them via marketplace?

Fisher Price have told Amazon that they will not allow third party sales, therefore Amazon wont allow Marketplace sellers.

    Hope this helps

On Ebay UK? Or a private ad in the local paper? I can see one for sale at £99.99 but no record of a completed one yet? Was it today? Why would someone pay £100 for one when they are going for £50 all over ebay?

  • For anyone living in London - Hamleys, Regents Street have about 20 of the 'TOP SECRET' Elmo's..........on I think, the 3rd floor.

Most people were looking at the laughing display models and just passing by - unaware of the 'hype'.
Some days you're the bird......and some days you're the statue
