Earlier this evening my wife asked me what I was thinking so I told her there was a possibility that these Elmos were in fact aliens who were planning to lie low until Christmas morning when they would rise up and take over the world. But then their batteries would run low and, being Christmas, most of the shops would be shut so they would not be able to buy more and thus the plan, formulated over thousands of years, would be foiled on a technicality.
I don't know where she's gone now - anybody know how to make a cup of coffee??

    ;)
    Can I help?

Not forgetting Elmo is well known in the US. And of course there is ann actual demand for the toy.

How many many Brits know who Elmo is??

Comparing ebay.com to ebay.co.uk is not really an indicator to what this is worth unless you are planning to sell to Americans. Just a quick look at this thread shows how difficult it is with shipping costs and some Americans thinking they are buying Elmo in dollars! Not forgetting the non-payers! These problems are only likely to increase closer to Christmas with Americans changing their minds thinking it may take too long to ship.
  • Can't see what all the fuss is about these are not worth selling there's no profit in'em. If people want to cash in on Xmas (which is what this thread is about) pre-order some Nintendo wii's i'm sure you'll return more profit:beer:

MSE hype machine went into over-drive as people scrambled to get the first wave of Elmo's thinking prices would shoot up like they did in the US. Elmo sold out at first, but that was only because speculators and Muppet fans spend their money on it. Its a great toy, but most people realise how annoying it would become after 10 minutes :D
