I was Christmas Shopping today and decided to buy my Daughter the new TMX Elmo (amongst other things), I was in Woolies and saw some on a shelf, There was a 25% discount off on certain toys and the Elmos were on a shelf with the 25% off banner underneath!....I couldn't believe it!....£26.25 For it!
So I rushed it to the til only to be informed these weren't on promotion for the 25% off!
After I explained the discount banner (and showed the Manager) they let me have it for the £26.25!!
so.....................
Maybe your woolies has made the same mistakeDistant fields will always look greener.
Yet, golden opportunities are all around you0 -
Nice tip, still cannot understand the fuss about them. They ae funny for about 5 minutes but kind of a one trick pony.0

anyone posting these be sure to do it by a trackable method with increased insurance.I only had 3.2 of which the ebayers caused me problems. One was saying I had sent it to wrong address.I had sent it to address on ebay and paypal and had proof.
The other really tried it on till I scanned her the proof.Tried to make out her paypal claim wasnt her but someone in africa!
There really are some muppets on there so look after number 1.Unfortunately elmo seems to attract them lol.0 -

If people want to cash in on Xmas (which is what this thread is about) pre-order some Nintendo wii's i'm sure you'll return more profit:beer:
There was profit in it, and there still is. But mabye not as much.
I have made a few quid.
And i have also got a couple of Ninendos on order.

Err... since when has the Grabbit board or the MSE ethos been about cashing in on Christmas?
It's about money saving, not money making. The spivs just out to make a fast buck ruin the bargains for everyone else, which is why I hope they lost a few bob on the Elmos0 -

I know everyone is entitled to a view BUT, can we change the record.(I have not got a beer gut, its a fuel tank for a love machine):eek:0 -
yes i see what your saying about making a quick buck but if looking it like this the profit made from any elmos would then go towards the money i was going to spend on xmas presents so in a sense saving me money!!!!!0

eBay, now: 433 items found for elmo tmx
10p listing day on Monday.
IIRC, eBay do a lot of cheap listing days coming up to Christmas, no? I seem to remember they had one every 10 days or so in November/December. Perhaps Monday's is the first of many??
Still no Elmo hype on TV or the media...0
