help needed. bought second hand car and it has faults.

    If we manage to get a refund for the car how is the 'deduction for usage' worked out? Is it based on mileage and if so how much per mile? Obviousely the car is not going to be used until it's taken back to the garage.

    No...there should be no deduction for useage. They should compensate you for inconvenience,dishonesty and any out of pocket expenses you might have incurred as a result of this dubious transaction.
    Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

    The normal "trick" is to put on a fresh MOT along with the 3 months warranty, that way the customer won't find the faults til 9 months after the warranty expires.

    This is the reason that I'd not buy a car like this from anywhere other than VW Approved Used stock....
