    Mark is that 1000 each?

No For both of us, if possible? saveapenny
Just wondering is it just best waiting for the day before, do you get any good late deals now?
Or do they just let them go, and not discount them now?
    Regards
    Mark

P.S also what island would people on here rate the best in the Caribbean?

Hi travelman, I'd like a quote for a skiing holiday:

    1 - Birmingham, Bristol, London
    2 - 7 days
3 - 27th/28th/29th January (would consider giving or taking a day)
    4 - Yes
    5 - 4 to 5, youngest member 14
    6 - 4 star catered chalet/hotel
7 - Preferably quiet, not looking for a young 'n' drunk British haven
8 - Would LIKE France or Italy - maybe Les Arcs
9 - Sauna, swimming pool if possible, fair beginner skiing with something for the more experienced skiers, good food (vegetarian and fish options if possible)
    10 - Saturday 21st January
    11 - £300 per person (i.e. £1200 for 4, £1500 for 5), not including ski hire/lift passes (though desirable)

    Thanks,

    Spinner

Mark Problem is the islands you want its not happening sorry even if you wait till the day before traveling.
Islands you might get for 500 each are 3-4*Cuba
    3-4* Dom Rep
3* Mexico Maybe right at last minute
    S/C Barbados mayeb 2-3*
But Antigua you would be looking at £1000+ each going this week its high season now out there.
And these would all be 7 or 14 days usualy 10 days are with people like Virgin thats why the price rockets up.
My favourite island was Grenada least favourite St Lucia

I liked Grenada best, followed by Antigua, Barbados - defo not Dom Rep nor St Kitts, they're not the cheapest for no reason IMHO. The Virgin Isles are fab, but not cheap. A caribbean cruise is fantastic, you visit a different island most days!

Auntywalker, You have the same order as me.
Where ahev you stayed in Grenada? we are booked for the True Blue for May (fingers crossed) We did the cruise wouldnt do it again you miss out on so much I hated leaving each island.
But at least it showed us islands I wouldnt return to ..IE Trinidad, Margarita (yak)
Stayed in Barbados (tropical escape) a few years ago and loved it and Antigua (blue heron)
Hopefully another island next month now it looks like mom-in-law is on her way out of hospital
