Cheapest way is to go indirect with swissair from Manchester through cheaptickets flight at the minute is 257 which doesnt leave a lot for your hotel.
Theres a BA direct fight from LHR on the 11th -18th for 518 for the 2 of you.
Best hotel I can find is The Pharaoh Egypt 4*
at 157 for the week for the 2 of you

The Pharaoh Egypt hotel is situated in the heart of the city centre of Cairo, within walking distance of the residential and diplomatic districts Giza and Mohandesseen and not far from the main shopping streets of the city and other famous attractions as the Giza pyramids or the Egyptian museum.

A number of relaxing leisure facilities are located within the complex, as a fully equipped gym, offering a beautiful view of the Giza Pyramids, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a jacuzzi tub, for your ultimate comfort and relaxation.

Furthermore, the property features a shopping arcade, a fully equipped meeting room hosting up to 120 people, a hairdresser, an Internet point, a rooftop swimming pool and a 24-hour room service.

Or for 347 you can have to Sofitel Sphinx 5* with views over the Pyramids

    Manchester(INDIRECT) - The Pharaoh Egypt = £671
LHR -(DIRECT) -The Pharaoh Egypt = £675

    MAN-Sofitel = £861
    LHR-Sofitel = £865
    Both Includes hot buffet breakfast

  • Hi can anyone recommend me a flight/hotel package for me and the missus to Thailand for 10 days from May 7th onwards. We have a strict budget so we're not looking at much more than £1000 for the both of us for flights/hotel

We would like to fly from Stanstead or Luton only.

Some advice would be great, I find expedia and such like a bit overwhelming!!!
