I would like to pop to prague to do some xmas shopping and take my mum for a bit of a break. Just got back from jamaica which was great i thankyou for helping me find that holiday.

I want one or two nights away in nov or october, as cheap as possible, fllying from lLeeds bradford. The cheapest i can find is total £104.94 for flights and £156 total for hotel, There were some hotels about £8 night cheaper but i was looking for one kinda central.

Is duty free reasonabley priced there? I have not been for years?

The flights you found are the cheapest i can find from LBA with Jet2 on 23rd-25th Nov..
Hotels,check this 1 out.Its only a couple of mins away from Wenceslas Square area of Prague,so very central for you.

Have only briefly looked up accommodations in Puerto del Carmen and so far we like any from the Riuhotel group (have stayed with them before and they're always great). Have been put off the Green Oasis Loma Verde. Was offered £285 for this hotel AI for the week with flight from Birmingham with firstchoice flying out and returning on the Sunday (5th and 12th).

The Riu is good and I would be put off the Green Oasis too its right out og things.
In my opinion I think Lanarote is a waste to go AI
Your top budget being 400 each is a lot of eating out in nice restraunts
You could probably get s/c for around 100-150 each
You say you want PDC but dont want tacky...if you go to PDC tacky is what you will get Costa Teguise is much nice so is Playa Blanca but November might be quiet in Playa Blanca.

Cheapest seems to be 9th Nov from Manchester all price based on that date and flight.

Sorry ...I thought the dates you posted were dates you could go in between
We went to Lanzarorte Bay its a OK AI but my fav is still going sc too many nice places to eat out to be stuck to the hotel but its worth doing AI if its cheap enough just so your drinks are inc then you still can afford to eat out the odd night.

There is also the Riu Playa Balnca for £511+flights with alpharoom
I have found Lanzarote Bay a bit cheaper
