We got the Virgin quote from their website, we must have phoned evey Internet holiday company.

Have been on many holidays and always got a bargain, it appears our luck may have run out this time, nobody seems to want to budge on their price, of course tried all the "have had this quote can you beat it etc"

The latest quote is from Destinology at £3,700 thats flying from Heathrow would prefer to fly from Gatwick as live only 5 min away, makes sense.

Yes it the Jumeirah Beach hotel shaped like a wave/sail LOL

I have my heart set on that hotel, just got to go there!!!!

There was another hotel that I like but was told from one of the many holiday companies that from Jan 07 - Dec 07 it was closed for refurbishment.

Having said that this hotel does come up when you do a search, (will be back with the name of the hotel) and does not metion that they are taking no bookings between Jan 07 and Dec 08. surely it would say!!!

The name of the other hotel that we were interested in was Le Royal Meridian Beach Resort & Spa Hotel, but as said we have been told the hotel is closed for refurbishment, I need to look into this hotel again. This is giving me a right headache

hi! just wondered if you could help me please. a friend told me about the site and said you might be able to help as i have only managed to get ridiculously priced quotes for a trip to new york in december for 2 or 3 nights (when i say ridiculous i mean really ridiculous... over £1700 for just 3 nights!!!!). i need both flights and accomodation. here are my requirement details:
-date range: preferably middle of december
-number of people: 2
-accomodation:nothing less than 3* preferably
-close to city sites
-not too expensive-£300 each max!

Sorry!!!

The hotel that I was told is closed from Jan 07 - Dec 07 is Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and not the Le Royal Meridian Beach Resort & Spa Hotel.

Can anyone tell me if the Hilton is closing from the above dates as I am happy to consider this if the price is right. When you search the hotel it does not mention the closure and it gives you the opportunity to book.
