Hi - still need some help please...

Leaving from Manchester or Birmingham on Monday 2nd October or Tuesday 3rd October (could do the sunday at a push).

Duration - 4 to 7 days (would need to be back by midday on Monday 9th October.

Location - dont mind, would like to try Menorca but not really too fussy now.

Budget - up to £300 (two adults travelling).

I have spent hours trawlling through websites, but cannot really come up with much. Need your expert help please!!!

Clareski...at the minute flight only is coming out over budget for Menorca if you really want Menorca you might have to wait till really last minute

Thank you both - just want a break anywhere at the moment. I dont mind paying a bit more for a decent hotel, but I dont know where to start with the cheap flights. I suppose my main criteria is

Departure dates - cant go any earlier than late sunday 1st Oct

Tansfer from the airport - taxi would really bump up the price

Decent hotel or apartment - dont mind what board

Destination - dont care as long as it has got some nice places to sit out at night to have a meal and a drink.

Found a deal to Alcudia for £424 for the 3 of us in a 3* hotel so decided to go for that.

2-Duration

3-1st & last dates to leave the UK
30th Sept - 4th October

4-Are night flights acceptable ? (Big point as night flights usually cheaper!)
If needs must!

5-Party size & kids ages
2 Adults (in mid twenties)

6-Board basis you require (ie self-catering, all-inclusive, h/b, bb...etc)
Any board so price can reflect that

7-Type of resort, ie quiet, lively
Medium. Definitely don't need nightclubs. Like local restaurants

8-Any resorts/countries you WOULD NOT go to
Prob easier to suggest where we WOULD go: Tunisia: Port el Kantaoui, Egypt: Luxor not sharm, Turkey: Fethiye (letoonia?), Greek island if still good weather (ie southern one) but not nightclub/18-30s type resort (eg Lindos type place but have been there before so would like somewhere different)

9-Any other neccesary factors, ie must have kids
Only the bits mentioned above - sorry if I seem a bit fussy. Beach a bonus. Good restaurants essential if not AI.
