Have I missed something here? Has the little boy's father not been involved in providing a roof for his child rather than the poor thing having to live in a tent?"If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"
Extract from "If" by Rudyard Kipling0 -
You mean little boy.
The tennant has a little girl.
Both should be protected from the intrusive media. Only the tennant had sense to do that. Whereas Suzy used her son as a pawn in her campaign to be seen as a victim. Awful. I would never use my children to manipulate anyone. It's not moral.0 -
What sold this story to the media was
-poor charity worker returns from Peru and has to live in tent while squatter refuses to leave0 -
What makes me laugh is that in one of the GMTV interviews (I think) she claimed that the reason they were staying in the tent is that they had been unable to find anywhere to stay together, that nobody had enough space to put them both up. !!!!!!???????? He's FOUR. Why couldn't they just share a bed/sofa/floor space?0

Earlier this year a magistrate - ie, someone who really *ought* to have known better - was convicted of illegal evicting her T, apparently after a row about rent payments: add this sort of behaviour from LLs to the attempts over the past year by some LLs/LAs to publicly shame errant Ts - see a previous occupant of NL's Naughty Step - and it all presents a rather unpalatable
I can but hope somebody knocked up 'criminal Letting Agent does business here' sign and fixed it to the office of the agent0 -
If she wants to move to Spain & one of her centres in Peru is under threat of closure, I would have thought she had enough on her plate with those, rather than kicking off a campaign in something else.0

The tennant has a little girl.
The tenant does not have a little girl. Her daughter is or was at a local college studying photography so is likely to be in her teens at the youngest.
I suppose she's mummy's little girl, possibly a dependent but not actually a young child.
Not that this has any influence on the issues that the tenant or landlord have alleged to experienced.0 -
Has anyone seen anything on Facebook today? I'm at work so can't check the relevant pages but interested to see if things have degenerated any further - if that's possible.BCSC # 9 and proud! :beer:0
