These things are never as simple as they seem though.

True. I think a case went all the way up to the House of Lords, where their Lordships helpfully defined "ordinarily resident" as "the place where one resides, ordinarily" or something like that.

Perhaps it was "habitually resident" which they defined, I forget.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

I was thinking of a case where the couple were in a council property and did RTB, then sold it for £80k profit and went to Spain - never worked, spent all the money then came home asking for another council property.

    Err......

There's nothing happening there, so bickeing is bound to kick off while everyone twiddles their thumbs wondering what the group is for.

It's a load of old twaddle.

It's getting a bit late in the day for any kind of info coming from Suzy and her crones

    Well I'd have thought anyway.

Has this been put up or not? It wa sent out at 10am but in the 'updates' section on facebook - not as a message.

    ~~

Hi everyone we will be making a statement later today which I hope will clarify a few points and lay out our plans in greater detail. I hope this will also end some of the unfortunate behavior from a tiny minority. We are happy to have an discussion and share ideas in a reasonable way. People have removed because they have been abusive or have engaged in 'troll' behavior reproducing peoples personal details and members post on other forums etc ( even if they have no bearing on this issue)

unfortunately certain people seem to believe that abuse and threats and making this some personal vendetta is a way to get their point across it does you no credit, As I have pointed out on numerous occasions ' Flaming ' and other simlar behavior has no place here. You now have a platform for your opinions, lets hope we can have a more sensible dialogue in the future

    Thanks
    Gary

It aint nothing that isn't in the publice domain Gary my dear.

If you want to be a private person then stop courting the media.

Well exactly. All the information that has been dug up has been in the public domain, and it has not been reproduced here merely for malicious or salacious purposes - the background details contradict the claims and statements Suzy is making on national television and radio as part of her campaign to get the law of the land changed, and are therefore certainly relevant. She claims to have been penniless and forced to live in a tent when in fact she owns multiple properties across the globe, and her millionaire father is living less than a mile down the road in a £1m mansion.
