We'll need a code though - I suggest we here on in refer to a certain morning television programme with absolutely no links to MSE or anyone associated with it as 'Max Moseley', after his penchant for silencing critics when he's caught doing something a bit naughty... :p

We don't yet, until an explanation is forthcoming of what the thread was pulled.

Can't jump to the conclusion it was because of GMTV seeking its removal or Martin's slot on that show.

Nevertheless, I won't forget, and hope we don't begin to see new occurrences of what appeared to be media harassment of lawful tenants, described to the nation as squatters.

(Maybe..) the good news is the evil &, IMHO, criminal - though others may disagree and she may of course be pure as the driven snow - Landlady and/or her legal advisers have realised the very exposed position she is in.

I would hope, in pursuit of British Justice, that her tenant is receiving good legal advice on her options to pursue an action for unlawful eviction.

We will see if this post/this thread is also deleted.. I'm sure MSE has backups of the earlier one.. presumably it would have to make it available if request in any legal case..

    Cheers!

I clicked on the forum rules earlier and the essence of it is that the thread isn't deleted. Its just made inaccessible to normal viewers. Mods and Admins can still see it and it can be reinstated if need be.

The MSE website is a privately owned one, albeit with a public forum, so the option to delete threads is always there, whether or not we like that fact. The content of the thread may well have placed MSE Martin in a very difficult situation vis a vis GMTV, because so many were not only questioning their actions on here, but were emailing/writing to GMTV asking them to explain themselves.

    From the Forum FaQs
"The Forum Team won't respond to aggressive emails demanding to know why a post/thread's been removed but if you send them a polite email asking, they may review or explain the decision where possible (sometime legal reasons prevent this)."

So , polite though Pepzofio's letter is, it may be that the Forum Team won't be able to/will choose not to say why.

I expect that this one will be deleted/closed too at some point.

  • Exchange (now deleted, surprise surprise) on their FB page would indicate that Jeremy was unhappy at being identified here. (I know, I know). So, lets keep that in mind. Wouldn't want to start again, again.

As he has banned 99% of dissenting voices I assume the timeline/statement is due very soon.
