Evening everyone
Am glad my 1st week back is over, although today ended nasty. I got on the wrong side of someone at work and he is not a very nice person, what makes it worse he is bosses son, felt very intimidated.
Still, 3 sleeps till I have to go back. Been raining on and off here all day, but very very warm. Went out at lunch time to see if I could buy a new skirt or dress but nothing, saved me some pennies:rotfl:
Not doing anything tonight, going to have a mini blitz in the morning, then we are off to Manchester, going to the war museum and then to the Lowry Theatre to see 'Corrie'.
Waiting for OH to come home and DSD to appear. It's her 16 birthday today but shes already had our present, we paid for her to go to Amsterdam to stay with relatives.
Have a good evening - not too big a glass of wine before you go out Candygirl, we want you sober enough to give us all the detailswhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Semi-productive day for me. One assignment done (so just 2 left) inbetween fielding many calls from work!
I've just popped to Tesco to do monthly shop as it's payday. I got the £5 Sun voucher, and used £30 of Clubcard vouchers (I know they can be used better on other things but I needed new camera this month so paid for camera with 'food' money so vouchers pay for food IYKWIM!!) so only spent £9. I'll need to do top up of fresh stuff in month but I got lots of extra stuff for my storecupboard.
Need to design cards with Welsh things on them (I'm a bit stuck on that one :undecided).
What sort of Welsh things Tru? What are the cards for?

(((Dazi)))
Hello there Diva
Sorry to hear about bad weather, we have had a lovely sunny day here, the first in ages, been quite warm but not what I would call normal August warm.
Late posting for me as we had a day out in Sussex yesterday and stayed overnight in a travel-lodge, went a bit t*ts up as OH had to go into work as someone went sick and seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time stuck in traffic but overall was nice. Did spend a lot of money on food though even though we chose the cheapest options each time.
Have a basket full of washing againhope tomorrow is like today as it would have been a good drying day. Looking forward to tomorrow, OH will be in bed as been at work, DS has footie training and DD has her volunteer job at the library. First time I have had the house to myself for weeks.
Hope you all have a lovely evening, its the weekend :j:j0 -
Afternoon All
Didn't get on yesterday I was so busy cooking all day for DD's 21st party - I am glad to report it all went really well, even though it was rainingbut they all got under the gazebo.
I have had lots of lovely phone calls thanking me for a lovely night so all the hard work was worth it.
I was in agony last night because of standing for too long and when I sat down I couldn't bloomin move, both knees completely locked and DH had to help me get undressed and put me to bed. He also had to get me showered and dressed this morning but that is arthritis for you:( You have more bad days than good.
DD did the washing for me today so I am having a lazy day - can't do a lot anyhow I am as high as a kite on tramadol
I have lots of food left over so it is leftovers for dinner (Salad, chicken, sausage rolls etc and cake, cake and more cake :rotfl:)
NPM - Sorry to hear that you are going through it again at the moment ((((((((Hugs))))))))
Lovely to see you posting again Diva (((((Hugs)))))
Well I am off to grab a bite to eat Take care all xxxBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Evening All
Not long till the long awaited final of Masterchef!! Gosh, I do appear to be very sad but not much happens round here!
Managed to have a lie in today till 6.15! Anyway got a few things done this morning - caught up with the ironing, made DD her packed lunch (even though she works in a snack bar and can get her lunch provided) and made myself a salad. Had a worrying moment this afternoon after work though as I had pink pee! After a quick panic I remembered that I had eaten four beetroot with my salad!!
Took a few bags of garden cuttings to the tip and then took a big bag of books to the charity shop. The British Heart Foundation give out good sized bags and also have a card you can take every time you donate which means they can claim the gift aid for everything of yours that they sell. Will take the next lot to Cancer Research as I feel I should be loyal to them too.
DD came home from work sick today - a big event in this house for anyone to be sick. Can't be that bad though as she has just eaten 2 Fajitas for tea! DS2 and I had a joint cooking session and we had quite a good laugh.
Hugs to everyone, take care XX0
