  • Good morning all,
Thanks for making me feel welcome yesterday.
Grey, cloudy with lots of rain here at the moment - just in time for the weekend (typical)
Not a lot of os going on today for me, just the usual dog walking before work - luckily i got indoors before the heaven's opened.
Need to clean bathrooms tonight & do a basket of ironing (which I get paid a little for).
Lunch will be: some of last night's left over chicken supreme, which I think I will stir through pasta & top with cheese (yum) :)
Tonight's tea will be: erm....:o Freezer special probably, unless OH treats us to a takeaway (fingers crossed).

suzybloo - Hope you have a fab weekend away.
nmlc - Your dinner yesterday sounds delish-I love throwing lots of things together, that's how you discover some tasty meals! IMO

    Good Morning all,
Weather here today is bright and blowy so two loads on the line, DD1 off to work and DP out helping his dad, DS in bed still, he had a friend to stay last night and I think they were up all night on the x box!! Will be gettting him up in a bit to cut grass (is there a hopeful smiley?) Apart from washing and general tidy OS wise have lots of courgettes and blackberries to use up so am off to look for a soup recipe shortly. Last nights dinner was chinese style pork chops from netto, seven for four pound (bargain) had them with oven chips n veg last night, tonight i'm going to use the remaining three in a stirfry so need to pop out for some bean shoots and also put my prescription in.
Best wishes to everyone for the day

    Morning all.

I had to be conscious and functioning early (well, early for me:D) today, because Pip & Pandora arrived just after 09:00.:j

NPM lovely to see you posting;sorry life's been stressful - sending posi-vibes for you and Noah.

Sistercas vanilla coffee sounds delicious - how do you go about making it, please?:o

Candygirl I'm sure Boo will talk when she's ready - Mr LW tells me that when he learned to talk, his dad started giving him tasks to do, so he stopped talking and pretended he didn't understand what was being said to him!:rotfl: What a bad boy!!:rotfl:

I have a relatively easy day today, as I did some of today's Flylady list yesterday; just dins tonight - I think it'll be mushroom risotto (I'll have to check the meal plan to be sure;)) and P&P's walkies, really. I ought to get on with some craft tasks I keep putting off, but we'll see....:D

  • Morning all,

Sorry JC, I didn't mean to be a tease, I did think I was back but then apparently I wasn't quite.. :rotfl:

Suzybloo - Have a lovely weekend!
Taplady - Reallyglad your DS is back with his partner
Noahs - huge hugs to you hon
JackieG - Morning Mrs Grumpy! :p
    Redruby - good ebay shopping!
Candy - Have a great time on your date and stop being nervous!

Have only read todays page so still not up to date with everyone.

My Godson helped me in the garden again yesterda and he harvested some more dwarf green beans, the first ripe tomatoes, some more radish and lots of blackberries. Plus peppers. Well. I thought they were peppers, the label had gone missing from the pot and they were small but pepper shaped so collected about 20, and decided to slice them and freeze them. All was going well til I scratched my nose and realised there was a slight burning sensation and when I touched my tongue to a slice realised they were in fact really hot (and large) chilli peppers!! Very grateful to have worked that out as next time I was cooking, throwing a handful of them in would have ruined the meal and quite blown our heads off! giggle.gif Have dried them off and chopped them and have plenty of dried chilli 'flakes' now.

Thank you to everyone who pm-ed me, both when I was away and since I posted two days ago, I was really touched. Life threw me a few nasty curveballs, hence my absence, but I will try to be back now.

HShungry.gifNot eating much at present but today will be gammon. Cooked a huge one a la Nigellas coke recipe and have sliced and frozen into portions.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a good day. With love, light and hugs.gif to all.

  • Good morning everybody. I have a doctors appt this afternoon to discuss my return to work. I am anxious about returning as I have been of for four months and am still rather sleepy in the day. I am looking forward to tomorrow night as my old Australian housemate is coming over for a visit my self, DM and OH are going to a BBQ to celebrate his return to England. I am such a girl, the first thing I thought of is that I can wear my favourite maxi dress (although looking at the weather today it is not looking to promising). I finally had a reply from the solicitor so at least some progress there.

My psychologist has given my a relaxtion cd to do twice a day to help with my anxiety. I keep putting it off, as much as I hate the constant anxiety in my tummy, it has been there so long now that I almost wonder what I'll do without it, a love hate relationship!

OS wise, OH is doing some home baking today, it is a surprise for me, but I know it involves chocoalte!! Also I am going to hunt around for some more stuff to sell on eBay.

Falady - Slow down dear, just reading all your plans for today makes me feel tired! Rest up, make the most of it as you won't get much chance when the baby arrives!!!

    - OH and I are also addicted to Masterchef, I have a feeling !!!!!! will win. I love Lisa but I don't think she will win becasue she gets herself in such a state. I have also really warmed to Christine.

    Hugs to all xxxxxxx
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!
  • Well, after yesterdays panic/crying session, thanks to the lovely people at SLC, I had a lovely night with the step-family, and got up early to drive home today... And put my hand straight on the paperwork that SLC now need, so that's all in the post already thankfully! Much, much calmer now I know it's all been sorted.

Won't be up to much at all over the next couple of days, me and mum have an agreement over the kitchen - if it's hers I stay out of it, and vice-versa! I made cake to bring home yesterday, and put some in the freezer too, so I can pull a couple of buns out on Sunday night, ready for lunch at uni on Monday. Will need to sort my shopping list out, only need lunch goodies though, so that shouldn't be too bad - in fact, I think it's just sandwich stuff I need, seeing as the cake is in the freezer, and I've got crisps still. Bread, fillings, fruit, and milk, so hopefully can finish the month on a very, very low spend - should balance out the petrol!

I am also a Masterchef addict! It's been so good this year. I have warmed to Christine too, she has been very helpful with the other candidates throughout and I felt so sorry for her when she was late gettign her food out last night! I like Lisa too, and bless her she worries so much but almost always does well. I have no idea who will win.
