Spotted this on TiM today:
The UK bank rate will fall to 0.25 per cent by the end of the year, money markets were indicating today.
It is the first time the market has fully priced in a rate cut below 0.50 per cent, the level at which it has been fixed since March 2009.
A rise to 0.75 per cent, the market suggests, is now unlikely to come until early 2017. Just two months ago, the forecast was for a rise in 2014.
