I am so angry at amazon right now.
I ordered a load of stuff of them, I used prime delivery.
They sent everything (worth over £400) VIA royal mail. (1st class)
I only got 3 things, and the best thing is the post man left them outside of my house till I came home and found them.
Now... They told me to wait 14 days. And I did!
I can now no longer log into my Amazon account, I emailed them over 2 days ago asking for a refund.
Legally, can I ask for any compensation? As this is not on. I have a funny feeling that they have closed my account and are pulling a fast one. I paid with my Visa Debit if that's any help.
The funniest thing is, they sent 2 dvd's by city link yesterday and I got them today!
Oh amazon have gone down hill.

I'm confused... you got all your items, what's the problem? That the postman left them outside your house, ain't that the Royal Mail's problem not Amazon's?
:think:I'm still driving away and I'm sorry everyday,
I won't always love these selfish things.0 -

I think they ordered loads but only received 3 things?
Im confused as to why being annoyed with Amazon why you would place any further orders ( the dvds )0 -

I ordered around 14 items, but only got 3. (A Dvd, mainly the small parcels)
The DVD's were ordered using the same delivery method, one day delivery (recently) to see how it would go. (They were only £1 each and sent by city link!)
I ordered more, as they refunded me around £150 (for items I needed for the birthday) and i decided to wait for less important stuff. I have emailed them every 4-5 days to keep them informed.
I know this might sound odd but I think someone pinched them. The post man kept them in full view of the path! I have 2 busy shops infront of my home.
I am just confused as to why they have not replied to my email and closed my account. I have done the lost password process and I have changed it but I still will not let me log in.
Why did I pay £49 for prime. I thought they would send everything by city link. (They did it during the trial)0 -
Might you try contacting the Post Office to determine if 14 Parcels were there and picked up by your postman originally? Then you'll know if someone has stolen them?I'm still driving away and I'm sorry everyday,

Sorry Soho,
This is the first time this has happened to me, the postman normally puts a red card through. I did call the local delivery office and they did confirm that no parcels were there and that they did deliver 14 parcels. (Took a while to find out though!)
I emailed amazon and informed them and they sent a generic email telling me to wait.
I rang amazon and the "foreign" sounding women told me to wait aswell lol. No matter how hard I tried she said wait!
Could I do a chargeback through my bank, if they don't refund me?0 -
So where were the parcels delivered to0

So where were the parcels delivered to
I have no idea.
I only got 3 things and they were outside of my front door. I came home around 3.
The local depot is saying they delivered them to my house. :rotfl: No one was home. I live alone.
I am still waiting for the amazon reply. Not holding my breath though, they normally reply within 24 hours.0 -
It's official they are ignoring my emails now.
My friend emailed them last night and has already got a reply.
I feel gutted that I have spent over £5,000 this year alone with amazon! They didn't deserve a penny.0 -
Ok regarding your password problem. My son had a similar problem recently and we found after phoning them, that he'd 3 accounts with 3 different passwords all attached to the same email address!! Sounds crazy but its true. Could you have signed up using your email maybe ages ago and forgotten then signed up again to make this order?
Anyway I'd give them a ring to ask, especially if they are not replying to your emails:

It's only a game

RM (not the post office!) dont hold records relating to adddresses/SD tracking codes
the OP must get through to Amazon
they will have the/any tracking numbers relating to this order
if he/she gets the tracking numbers then they can launch a complaint with RM0
