  • having used it since it was added, i do feel that it should be the thanks that shows rather than entered. i always open the posts and thanked so id known id read the post but i am now finding even with the enter i still have the issue of knowing if ive seen the post,,, to speed it up i would love to flick down the screen to discover which didnt have a tick and then i could go to the post knowing id not opened it and either chose to enter or not,, maybe it should be a tick button for enter (not the word enter) and a cross for not entered so that the main post pages show v. clearly you decision........................ im sorry if this doesnt make sense

That's a really good idea, because some sites you don't/can't enter from for various reasons and it saves you from opening the thread again because you know you've clicked the cross that it's not one you need to check again! Great idea! :T :T
  • i just think it's moving the issue of skewed date (everyone thanking so they dont know how many entered) to another button..... i for one am pressing enter without entering on some competitions just so i know ive read the post and can scan a page to see that theyre all ticked/ classed as done in my eyes.

edit- i know of others who are using the enter button in this way
A big thank you to all those who post on the forum and make it a worthwhile place!!!:j

I'm finding the green button is saving loads of time trying to find out where I left off. It will be especially helpful for people trying to catch up on the end by date comps

Im loving the new enter button!!! Thank you
  • It would be even more amazing if...
we had a link at the top of the box to take you back to your search results that refreshes the ticks when you go back to yr list instead of clicking back button, you then need to refresh the page to see them. Ebay has this link for example so that the list updates the times of the auctions.

I'm not a big fan of it either, I find it pointless really! Also what does irritate me is the banner on the right hand side of the posts saying what else is on the site ~ not because I don't find it helpful (I do, honest :o) but it sometimes overlaps the posts, and also when you want to go to a certain page it blocks the little box (hope this makes sense). But then it may just be my computer.
