New enter button live!

As far as I am concerned all these bells and whistles are a waste of time I'm still using the old style because it suits me. If the old style interface is discontined I will simply move to another site. Just my opinion. Cheers John

Bit late (been poorly) but just wanted to add my thanks for this great addition. Celebrated feeling better by clearing out my subscriptions - my (very) rudimentary tick system plus this button will probably give me a better idea of how many comps I have entered.

Can I just say that I have used the new skin since it's implementation and have always loved it. I don't always take change kindly and have been stubborn to the point of stupidity over other sites but I always found the old skin old-fashioned

However, I would like to add

One extra bonus is that it has prompted me to remember to thank OP's, I was somewhat sporadic before, especially if I was in a hurry, but it's become automatic with my clicking of the entered button now

Just thought this might help some people struggling with the new look styled board:

I've installed 'Adblock Plus' and the 'Adblock Plus: Element Hiding Helper' for Firefox and I've managed to make the forum look much more slimline (it's loading really quickly now too which is a huge bonus)

When you've installed both of them you can use the Element Hiding Helper from the drop down menu 'Select element to hide' and it puts red boxes around things when you hover over them and you can get it to hide them by clicking it. You have to be careful not to remove some things (I tried to remove a table at the bottom and it made all the posts disappear!! :rotfl:), but I've managed to get rid of the Masthead (The part with Martin's pic and the links to parts of the site), Thread Stats, Forum Top (The Important this Forum is not moderated bit), everything on the Right Hand Side of the screen (doing this has made the thread box spread all the way across the screen which is really good, no white space) and the Resource Bar (The bit under the big thread/board title text)

I was hating the new look before I did this but it's so much better now, no clutter! :j :j

No problems here but think it saying unentered is a bit unneccessary - can''t it just disappear after clicking or go another colour ?

I have just noticed however, that the 'tick' doesn't show up when using the search facility. I have just entered a competition from the Real Homes website and decided to do a search to check if there were any listed that I had not entered. After entering several, each time clicking the enter button, I refreshed the 'search results' page and no ticks were visible. (They are showing in Standard and New Topic View.)

Please advise (and insert confused smiley ).

Really like the new button...... but

It is a real shame that it does not show up in the search facility. As I enter the competitions by searching for them by end date then the new button unfortunately has limited use as it does not show up in these circumstances. Unless I am missing something (which may be quite likely!!!)

Have changed to the less bright skin, which I hadn't realised had been added, I'm coping happily, if anything alot easier to find the place i left off.

Unenetered is fab as often comps have issues this way u will know u can unclick till it is fixed and u can actually enter xxxx

Excellent, thanks, will save so much time when I get behind which is nearly every couple of weeks now. Just what I needed and I am sure others will think so too. Makes this site even more wonderful.
