    love it! - thanks MSE

I think it has to be kept separate from the thanks button, otherwise you would have entered status on everything you thank as well as competition posts?

Although I do love the "entered" button, I'm still using subscribe because it keeps count of the comps I enter. Is there any way of adding a counter to the button to keep track of the number of comps entered as well?
    Thanks
    :)

looks like no new button for me then, guess i'll have to plod on as before

IMO this just smacks of trying to force more people across to the new skin, well you might just as well remove the option, because i will never voluntarily move over while you still have the garish green/white/green/white colour scheme and the stupidly oversized and incorrectly placed stats box obstructing the OP

looks like i wont be getting the benefits of the new rating system either then when it comes in, pity that

Likewise fnc63 guess I will have to plod on as before :(

I don't wish to sound ungrateful, but I'm so disappointed that the new entered button doesn't fully function on the old style forum

I really like the new entered button but unfortunately I'm now torn between the new button and the very bright colours of the new style forum which I abhor because it hurts my eyes and I it find hard to concentrate on the bright pages for any length of time

as much as I hate to say it I think that I will have to stay with the old style forum and forfeit the new entered button and carry on using the "Thanks" button as the new entered button without full functionality is quite useless :(

i felt the same at first over the new style as it really hurt my eyes but following advice i chose the less bright version and have dimmed the brightness down on my monitor and have no probs now, took a bit to get used to but now love it:D might be worth just trying it and see how it works for you? shame people are missing out on the entered button due to being on old style :(

its a good idea but ive tried it and its just the same as the thanks button ?

it would be a good idea if it were on the outside of the thread so you dont have to click on the thread to see if youve already entered or not ? you can tell that with the thanks button anyway

Amazing, thank you so much! Have thanked and 'entered'!
  • Love it thanks, lot easier than subscribing to the thread and then going back four pages to the main screen. Will save alot of time and will get comps done quicker for me

Believe me I have tried on numerous occasions pp it's not just the bright colours, it's the green columns intertwined with the white and the OTT big bright buttons

even the less brighter version is still way to bright and the buttons are still way to BIG and the whole design is not aesthetically pleasing on my eyes when looked at for any length of time

I've still no idea what the site designers where thinking of when they chose bright green intertwined with dark green and OTT BIG buttons

I said it when the new colour scheme was introduced and I'll say it again if the new scheme is introduced across the board then I will go to pastures new (slight pun there)

like fnc63 has said in an earlier post no amount of incentives like new buttons or features will ever make me change my mind

the new overgreen mse display reminds me of my new flat which was white interspersed with green all-over and I've just paid £800 to get rid of the green to tone it down

and as the meerkat would probably say I've not gone through all that just to come on here and see it on my flat screen monitor in all it's glory again :rotfl::rotfl:
