    Afternoon everyone! :hello:

It's a late one today, isn't it? I am so glad it's Thursday! And I will be even gladder (don't think that's a word!) when it's Friday tomorrow!! :j

So, I have created my blog now - I haven't done my first blog yet, as I am trying to customize the pages at the moment, but I have updated my "About Me" section and I have linked it to my new Twitter, so if anyone's interested (I think Pooky, you asked me yesterday) it is lapetiteconteuse.com/wordpress (just put the http:// in front of it - not sure if I can post it here? Oh and my Twitter is @petiteconteuse if anyone fancies listening to my ramblings :D

Elfen - thanks for starting us off :D

Tenmah - I think you were right to take the day off and I am sure that DD really appreciated it :A

Lou - hugs for you, Grandad Lou and DS - I will keep everything crossed!

LMC - sideline in "exotic" phonecalls??? :p

Will check back in in a bit - going to have my lunch now.

    Jo :)

  • Afternoon all,
Tenmah-so sorry about your daughter. It must be frustrating for you both x
Sammy-Well done on the 4 new clients! Thats amazing!
Susi-Wa-welcome and stick around. I just stick my bananas in the freezer, skin on etc then defrost them when I go to make banana bread. (I made 2 yesterday and added cut up Cadbury Fudge bars and chocolate, they are luuuuush)
    Vampy-Welcome as well! Keep posting!
Lou-so sorry about your Grandad hun-it must be such a worry. xxx

I havejust been to B&Q and returned some bits we didn't need and bought the paint for the kitchen-also bought a tester pot of the colour to make sure we like it, took off the 'security seal' and managed to fling paint everywhere! All over me, the kitchen etc. Such a clever bird eh? Then I made the kids dippy eggs and had a total meltdown trying to do that and undercooked a load and had to bin them! Argh!

I have ordered more memory for my laptop-very excited as it will hopefully means it runs faster! Yahooooo!

Thats about it for me-I need to iron, and then iron some more....have hours of it looming.....see ya!

    Afternoon.

Can I pick your brains please? I've seen some gorgeous curtains for my bedroom, thick purple and silver stripes, and half price. Will they look ok with bedding with flowers embroidered on it? The walls will be plain.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Good Luck to all waiting for results. My daughter said that waiting for the DLA decision was worse than waiting for her exam results :(

Lou - Hope your Grandad is ok
Bun - Just the sort of thing I would do with the paint, what colour are you going for?
Elfen - Well done on the oven, not something I do very often!
    Jo - Blog sounds exciting!

Washing already dry - only four pieces to iron! yay

Ames - What colour is the bedding? Is the colour picked out in the curtains - if so would look lovely.
