I'm gonna try the bottle of water in the freezer trick once I've drunk the 2 bottles of Sprite I got my OH to buy today  :o
I did give up for a while but went back to Sprite after just over a week I think :o

I'm going to have to try something else but not sure what...?

I really need to give up drinking fizzy drinks. I try to drink water at work and am slowly beating it (I write down the cost of every can I drink and then multiply it by how much I'll likely drink over the course of a year and scare myself) My OH and I take a couple of cans to work with us for quickness' sake each day and totting that up per month alone can be quite scary!
  • I went cold turkey, don't buy it as a regular, kids get it as a treat if out or anyone coming round. Too be honest I gave up a few years ago when suffering bad indigestion (gave up chewing gum as well!!) I will sometimes have it when out when driving but tend to get appletise or like as no additives - Thanks Mics_chic you saved me the job!! I'm a right old ex-addict I now very annoyingly point all I meet to the evils of what's in fizzy drinks and those flavoured waters!!

I needed to go shopping for a few essentials today (like pop :o) and decided to buy fruit juice and own brand sparkling water instead so I could mix them together - but I bought fruit juice 'drink' and still water instead  and it's tasteless :(
So I'm going to drink the fruit juice drink neat and try again in a couple of days :o;)
