Kiss flights gone bust!!!!!!!!

Thanks for that, Matt. I think I'll email the hotel in Crete to confirm whether the room has been paid for and is still ours and then see if I can get flights to fit in with our dates.
The stupid thing is is that I almost never book package holidays but did it this year because I thought it would be safer after all the fuss with the volcano. Just goes to show that anything can happen.0 -
Hello
Your TA wont cancel the hotel
Look for alternative flights and book them ASAP if you can
You will get a full refund for the kiss flights
Dont wait on your TA ringing you try and book alternatives ASAP
The smaller agents will struggle contacting there customers mainly because of staff numbers
If you need a hand give me a shout

I only booked my flights with KISS so I know my hotel is all fine and should remain so.AnythingButVanilla wrote: »Thanks for that, Matt. I think I'll email the hotel in Crete to confirm whether the room has been paid for and is still ours and then see if I can get flights to fit in with our dates.

Where abouts are you going in Crete, if you're anywhere near Chania there are some wonderful horse riding places up in the mountains that are very reasonably priced and cater for young children. I think for me, my partner and our two children we paid around 120 Euros for a 2 hour hack out.0 -
I booked everything through Flight Options via Lastminute.com and am supposed to be staying at the Angela Apartments in Sissi. Not sure if horse riding is really my thing but the mountains sound lovely. Perhaps we could throw the man responsible for this mess off the top? ;-)0

I'll tell you my secret shame... last year I booked a hotel in Chania then booked my flights, I didn't check the flight when booking and it turned out the flight landed into Herraklion. Had a panic moment when I asked the hotel to arrange the transfers and they came back with 280 euros (that's how I found my mistake) so elected to rent a car and drive the 2.5 hours across Crete. Paid 180 euros for a car for the week and to be fair the drive across the island is BEAUTIFUL!0
