wicked :) That's the other reason I'd like to do the food shopping on my own... because I have no objection to travelling to a few different supermarkets in order to get the cheapest deals. My OH cannot stand being in a shop for more than 20 mins... and therefore I cannot stand him after 20 mins! ;)

We currently shop in Asda, and I still believe for overall shopping it is by far the best and cheapest. Although I am very wary of all their "clever tricks" and have to stop OH being suckered in by 2 for 1's on brand names when own brands are still cheaper.

Oh dear... :( Well I still love it *smiles sheepishly* and in all honesty, I don't eat much fruit!
(everything fresh goes off far too quickly, and that goes for all shops... so I avoid buying it, so I don't waste it!)

I've got some banana's which are on the turn, so may make a banana pudding tonight to use them up.

Oh yum, I have found some fab Nigella recipes. Printed out at work... all I need is some baking power and some bicarb of soda, and I've got some very yummy choc banana muffins coming my way tonight!

Might be an excuse to get OH involved and actually speak to me instead of the TV!

Okay... I've had enough! If I get another post like this against me when I'm trying to offer advice to a newbie, then I may scream:

Yes, don't listen to those who are smart enough to avoid silly schemes like this and who know that brought is the past tense/past participle of bring and bought is the past tense of buy.

Just because I haven't smoked crack whilst drinking a can of special brew and driving a car down the motorway the wrong way at 100mph doesn't mean I don't know it's not a good idea.... Often people who have made a bad choice are unwilling to admit it to themselves let alone others and so I'd say beware those who are in these schemes with their rose tinted specs on

    Anyway, home time for me...
Home, put dinner in oven, jog to Mum's to feed cats and rats- picking up more cat food and some muffin cases on way home, go home, make muffins whilst discussing with OH whether he can cope with my best friend staying with us for 2 weeks in exchange for contributions towards utilities etc and food.

    Ciao for now MFW's!

Oh and Sml... agreed. I've been on the marriage, families and relationships board and there's a thread on there close to my heart I've been posting on. Unfortunately, some people are decided to take it all the wrong way and are being just plain rude to me now!

Oh do stop wittering on ;)

 Yikes, neither wonder you're upset:eek:. Ignore.

Has OH thought about a moped for the 1 day a week?
