  • You're all like naughty MoneySaving Angels on my shoulders!

Taunting me to save money :rotfl:

I'm normally such a crazy sentimental hoarder, but the thought of paying off CC2 - almost - is dampening my urge to hold onto stuff I don't 'love' (the iphone being the perfect example!)

Love your diary you are doing so well........ Wedges dont boil them .... wash them dry throughly and rub in oil and salt then just bake honest to god taste lovely............. x
  • Thank you bast :)

Ok, so is Quidco really as simple as logging in, searching for the store/utilities/ect you're looking for, clicking, letting it redirect you to the site of choice and then shopping?

Surely, it can't be THAT easy to make money? Is there a huge catch somewhere? I don't have to sell my soul? Noones going to be knocking on my door in high visability vests with 'Quidco Repo's' on the back?

  • I could never sell my iPhone - it would hurt my heart! How sad is it that I couldn't cope without it now!! I did however sell my old iPhone 3G on ebay when I upgraded to iPhone 4 - got £100 and it didn't even work - crazy people!

Hope your DFW goes well, I've just (re)started as well!

  • I love quidco had about £400 out of it so far.

Good to hear you are still motivated and meal planning. The phone option does sound good.

  • Check me out, two days in a row!

Last night, I Quidco'd! 2 old mobiles sent to Fonebanker (£3 Quidco, £3 recycle money)and 1 ancient Ipod mini sent to mobile exchange (£3,50 Quidco and £3 recycle money!) Wrapped eBay things, which were posted this afternoon :j

Some money saving happened today. Had £16ish in my purse (£4.99 to cover eBay postage) and £14 ish in the bank today. MrP had a day off, so in true money saving fashion, we went on the scrounge! Which we, cleverly, disguised as 'visiting'. Stopping firstly at Petrol station for £10 unleaded, I was a little naughty and bought two bottles of coke - it was very hot today, but I spend all day thinking about that £1.80 extra I had spent! That could have been my first PAD! Another lesson learnt)

While 'visitng' we all were fed lunch at Granparents :D (also came away with 6 homegrown tomatoes and Toddles got 60p for his bank from GreatGrampaPenny's pocket) I did have to buy a raffle ticket, but I only took 1 rather than my usual 5.

We visited my parents, who are going on holiday tomorrow and we came away with: 6 eggs (more of the beggers!) 2 tomatoes, 2 part-baked baguettes, 1/2 cucumber, 1 red organic onion and a medium size block of cheese. NOrmally I would have told them to chuck the stuff out, but I'm glad I didn't today because I used most of the stuff for tonights dinner, cheese, tomato and onion friatta :T

    September soon....

I had planned for tomorrow to be my first NSD of September, then remembered Babygroup, so that's £2.50 gone.

Then I thought about Thursday, but I'd forgotten out a nightout I'd agreed to, preLBM, which is £5 for ticket (for a good cause though), so have to meet Friend to pay her for that.

Friday is payday, so realistically, that's not going to be a NSD either. If I'm organised, I can do the shopping I have to do on Saturday (birthday present) on Friday, freeing up Saturday for a NSD.

Seems this NSD challenge is going to be harder than I though! :o I will do it though!

    Happy Tuesday!x
    I'll get there!
