I'm feeling really positive about this DFW malarky (wonder if my car will run off this new found motivation....):D
If you're trying to use up eggs, make frittata - we normally have it with salad as it's really filling - saves the beans for another meal!! I'll look for the recipe if you like, although I'm sure it's from here somewhere
Probably a stupid question, but how do you do homemade wedges? We had the shop ones tonight (Voucher for free pack, woo!) but I would like to know how to make them myself if you have any tips.
So if you're over the bridge are you in Fife somewhere?0 -
Also, radical suggestion, but would you consider selling one/both of the iPhones for a cashback contract with another phone?
(If the answer is no, don't worry, I would cut down the food bill before I gave up my HTC)

Aye, a Fifer and a bloody poor one!
The potato wedges go a bit like this:
Scrub some potatoes, half, quarter, then eighth them. Chuck them in a boiling pot, some salt (I don't because of Toddlerpenny) boil for 10 minutes or so. Drain.
I then put some in a bowl (about a quarter) and swirl with olive oil, then thow them onto a baking tray. Continue with the swirling, a quarter at a time, until they've all covered and on tray.
Sometimes, I just leave them flavourless. Other times, I use chilli powder, garlic salt, all purpose seasoning, rock salt and cracker pepper. Then I bake them at about 225 for 30/40 minutes (just keep an eye on them)
Mr LOVES them and they're so much easier that boiled potatoes, or mash. They've been keeping my takeaway cravings at bay.
Ah, well I'm up 70p then! :rotfl:
and on page 2 of my diary, I can see this being addictive!xI'll get there!0 -
I would swab my iPhone for a biscuit! Honestly, they are so overrated, the battery life is wash and it freezes. BUT I won't because they cost so much and I'd feel robbed if I don't get at least 40 years out of itI'll get there!0

Sale price for iPhone (Assuming 16GB version)
New HTC smartphone for £20 per month
I understand the need to keep the shiny things you bought before the LBM, but sometimes steps like selling these shiny things can make you feel amazing when you can close a smaller credit card, or make a £100 PAD.
*reapplies usual headware* :A0 -
just wanted to wish you good luck
