Evening
Pleased to report NSD 2, in a row, today :j
eBay looking good, 8 items have watchers, one in particular has 15 watchers (I'm wishing I had set the price higher now!) Definate sales of £5.19.
Had a fab day with the boy's, the weather has been really nice here. It's true what the say about fresh air, it really does lift your spirits.
Been back on track with my diet this week, I really really want to finish the half bottle of red lying in the kitchen but I will resist until after weigh in on Monday.
I'm a bit concerned that I'm feeling too good about things, I'm trying to enjoy it and not spend the time waiting on something crap to happen.I'll get there!0 -
Another good day for me!
eBay listings (almost) finished, only sold 5 items but the sales were £18.81!! Very pleased!
Annnndddd NSD 3 IN A ROW!
Annnnnnnddddd skipped the takeaway tonight and made myself a curry and finishing the wine I've been hankering after all week! A cheap friday night treat
I don't actually need to spend any money tomorrow either, I don't know if I'll manage to resist though (today was pretty difficult, I imagine tomorrow will be harder)

Quick update from today:
Had a spend day. I needed it! Only £16.82 on food, including a few of condiments (I dug out my 'takeaway secret' cookery book, determined to kick my lazy habit!) So I've got all the stuff I need to cook yummy dinners! I also spent £4.50 on toiletries.
Overall pleased with todayStill waiting on 3 eBay payments, then I'll sootch the funds into my 'savings'
Going to contact the council this week about my overpayment, £100.
Hoping to have saved/earn £200 this month to throw at my overdraft, bring it down to £1000.
Didn't take the boys to any firework displays, they're too little. Toddles and I watched some from his bedroom window. It was lovely! I could hear him aftetwards saying 'fireworks BOOM! Hot!'
That's meI'll get there!0 -
What a week!!
Some critter tried to break into my house this week, luckly we were out but still scared the daylights of of me. Spurred me onto sorting out some contents insurance, I don't know what I would have done if they're got in and away with all the Christmas gifts I had bough, my laptop, TV,So, I have the light timers out and I'm getting a new door next week (building insurance company have secured the door in the mean time)
Moving on....
Spend wise, brilliant!
Food £25.67 :j Massive reduction!
Baby £19.38
Cleaning ect: £6.42
Misc: £16.92
Total: £57.40
Can honestly say, seeing that total has given me a bigger buzz than spending would have.
I made, after postage, £18.81 on eBay. Pretty good for bit and bobs I ran round collecting when I saw the free lisitng notice! I've relisted 5 items that didn't sell and I'm planning on getting rid of my Sat-Nav and my Sony camera (I bought two cameras at the one time (?) a few years ago, so one has to go. I don't even think it's been used!)
Managed to clock up 6 NSD's this month so far! :T Oddly, not only am I benefiting financially for this money saving, my household waste has decreased to. It's crazy, my black bin is almost empty, that's unheard of for me. I use to waste so much and now, without even thinking about it I'm wasting less, because I'm buying/spending less! :rotfl:win win!!
Hope everyone is well, I'm just about to catch up with diaries.xxI'll get there!0 -
Hi MrsP,
WOW, November is your month. You are doing sooo well.
Aw thats terrible news that some one tried to break into your house, its sooo scarey. But look on the bright side, they didn't get in and you are now covered for all your belongings and door is going to be secure.
I am sure they won't come back, they didn't manage to get in the first time so no point trying again.
Less waste is good too, I watched a program on spending and they said that we all waste too much and thats what is costing us the most in our households. The less we waste the richer we become YEY...lets hope so.

Hey Mrs P,
Is everything OK?
x
Hi Livvy.
Yeah, everything's ok now. Had a bit of a hard few months, felt a bit vulnerable and couldn't face my diary.
Little debt free wannabe update, my car's going very soon, returned the paper work this week - turns out I could have got rid of it months ago, oh well. Bank want their overdraft back, well £700 of it, so I've got a payment arrangement starting for that next month. Ex will have to contribute towards the matrimonial debt, which is a huge weight off for me. So, I'm hopefully that I'll clean a few thousand this year. Getting rid of the car alone is knocking £5k off :money: I'll be lost without it, esp with the littles but heyho, such is life!
I'll drop into your diary. Hope you're well, hope evryone is :)xxxxI'll get there!0 -

Hi MrsP,
Aw, Im sorry things have been hard over the recent months. Christmas for me was awful, but hey I have a good feeling about this year. And look at all the debt you could clear with your ex paying his bit. I can't wait until my money is completely seperate from my ex coz he is so tight its unreal.
Its good and bad news about your car isn't it? Just think though, when your debt is cleared you will be able to buy another one. Hope you can manage without it with the two little ones...it won't be so bad in the summer will it?
Here's to a great 2012, and you're right it can't be any worse than last year can it?

Today's not been very good. I've had a fall out with ex, some harsh words from both sides. It's such a drain. I just want out of it now. Then the bank phone at 7pm (yeah, good time to phone when I have two teething overtired kids to deal with alone) to tell me I'm £1k in an unauthorised overdraft, Eh, no morons, I have an arrangement with you starting next month.
Sigh. She then goes on to tell me I've broken the arrangement, because I went over my limit. How'd I manage that then? Well!! (long story!) I went over my overdraft last month, so they were charging me £15 in fees and £13 in interest. Ok. 28 days from the date of the letter, which I worked out to be 13th January. So the money was in the account to cover it the day before. Only the took it on the 12th. Causing me to go overdrawn again  I.DO.NOT.NEED.THIS.TODAY.
Honestly, if I could have jumped on a plane today and never come back I would have.
Annnndddd! I phone for a DR appointment today, 2nd Febuary!! What a joke.
Oh, I'm a joy!! Bet your all glad to see me post again!!I'll get there!0
