Think I might print him off and put him up on my wall at work.
Hope your spends weren't too bad today.

I have him stuck to my fridge, amongst photos of my boys
I faced the music and counted my my spends, tbh it wasn't THAT bad, so I think I might have missed some massive spend somewhere
Here's the lowdown....

£42.57
Baby:
£17.94
Cleaning ect
£0
Misc:

Huge improvement on the 2 week previously, mainly because I over spent on the weeks previously! This final week will be even less spendy!!
Feeling better today. Got my Christmas vouchers through, so sorted some presents for the boys. I'm cutting down this year. I've only to get the boys new PJ's and colouring book/board books and maybe some sweets
I'm thinking of homemade presents for the adults, stuff mad by the boys and some homemade chutney or fudge? Snowman soup? I wanted to try all these thinsg last year but I was just too pregnant and the weather too awful to galavant about buying stuff!I'll get there!0 -
Hi,
Phew, thats not a bad spend and all is going in the right direction.
I'm not getting DD much either this year, my garden room is full of toys from her birthday and there isn't anything I can find that she hasn't already got.
Have you seen the pottery making kits you can buy where the boys can paint plates and things, I thought they would be a nice gift. I also do calendars every year with pics of DD on for the family, they are quite cheap to buy if you're not buying many but I always need loads so I don't leave anyone out, then it ends up costing a fortune on top of their other pressies.
There was loads I didn't do last year with DD as OH and I had had the talk and I wasn't feeling very happy, will do lots more this year to make up for it. I have the Annabel Karmel christmas baking kit...should be fun.

Have a wee look on my homepage and you'll see some calendars I've made for people. If you're not the world's best crafter they look scary to do, but are easy enough - I can link you a tutorial. Instead of adding a stamped image like I have you could stick on a picture of the kids and hey presto - personalised cards!

Thanks ladies:)
Yeah our whole house is packed full of toys already (might have to ship some out to MrP's house to live....) I know that everyone is going to go mad for Baby's first Christmas and I'm just going to take a back seat with his buying. He's got his birthday not long after Christmas as well.
FF, I've only just figured out how to view your homepage!I will definately have a look!
I'm just having a wee break from eBay'ing. I just logged on to see free listing and set myself a task to collect 15 items to sell. I've listed 9 so far, I've got 5 waiting to be listed and I'm going to have to find another, after I've had a cuppa! (and updated here!)
A NSD for me today. I had another LBM, 2 days ago. There's something I really really want for myself, but it's going to cost me (at a guess) between £1,000 and £1,800. I want to pay for it in cash so badly. I was mad at myself for having so much debt, because if I didn't, then I could probably save it up in 12 months, or less.
Then I read this:'You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months over-analysing a situation: Trying to put the pieces together, Justifying what could've or would've happened....or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move the f***k on' TupacI think it's applicable to me right now. Get over the debt, the marriage, the general crappy last few years, stop dwelling and, well, move on!
Happy Sunday!xxxI'll get there!0 -
Last day in October huh? Where's this year going?
Counted up my sends for this week. One more month of keeping a spending diary and it'll hopefully give me a realistic budget to stick to, see where I can cut back and save.
Sooooo....
Week 4:
Food:
£52.55
Baby:
£28.44
Cleans:
£5.31
Misc:
£35.93
(incuding £20.01 extra petrol, £5 for Toddles hair cut, £1.49 non-budget Xmas present, couple of cards and some other random bits)
Total:
£122.23
Need to run now, but had to get this lot down on 'paper' and out in the open!I'll get there!0 -
Hi MrsP,
Hope you had a lovely halloween.
Love that quote.
I had a little break from ebaying too, the washing, ironing, listing and posting p*ssed me off, but I could do with getting back into it myself. Well done you for getting on with it....it is worth it in the end.

I did Livvy, thank you
No trick or treaters, just as well really, I hadn't bought sweeties :money: Humbug!
November is my month. I feel it. I'm pretty organised, eBay sales are looking good at £4.99 and still 3 days left to go on all the items, better them cluttering someone elses house! Boy's are in bed, it's been a long day and I have a friend coming tomorrow, so I'll need to be blitzing the house tonight. Boo!! I am definately going to treat myself to a cleaner when I'm DF(and working again!)
Quidco paid out £16.48 this morning :j and somehow I had £44 left over from last month, which I've put into a seperate account. The eBay funds and Quidco cash will be joining it soon. Then I'm going to throw it at the Big Overdraft, even if I can knock £100 off it, I'll feel like I'm getting somewhere.
Also this month I have the Hen Night I mentioned a few posts ago, I think this will spur me on a bit with the Food/Takeaway spends! Must not eat crap!!
Had a spend day in the Supermarket, only £24.38 and £18.53 of that was on Nappies/baby snacks. I avoided all the Juice and left the shop feeling victorious!
Off to a flying start!I'll get there!0 -
WAHOOO, well done you...what a great start to November.
I had a couple of trick or treaters round and then rushed out, the first two took a handful of sweets each and I was fuming...cheeky sods.
