I've just got into a pair of 14 jeans (we must be similar shapes, I'm down 31lbs) Some of the 14 stuff is too big, others too small.I'll get there!0

Yup, we really must be the same shape :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Alot of what I was wearing was elasticated
So not, it's all just baggy. I'll need to get someone to go into the loft, dig out my pre-toddles clothes

I'm still overweight, although I look better than I have in a long time.
I need to start exercising though as the weightloss is beginning to stall due to me being a lazy sod0 -
You've done brilliantly in such a short time. Yeah, I'm still overweight to, but I'm in proportion! I get plenty excercise, I'm just slipping into old habits, mainly out of boredum!I'll get there!0

Hello October
Felling lots better now, a few days out in the sunshine has really sorted me out. Gave me some perspective on things.
Now, lets talk MONEY!
I've really enjoyed keeping my first months spending diary and I've managed to keep the majority of recipets. Had some free time thins morning so I collected them all up and 'analysed' them (oh, get me!)
Here's the short version:
Food: £162.06 (including takeaways and treats)
Baby Goods: £65.56 (Milk, nappys, wipes, food, snacks)
Misc: £248.65 (Haircuts, birthday presents, new pushchair, licence renewal)
Cleaning/toiletaries: £29.32
Other: £22.85 (lost recipets, parking, birthday cards, lotto)
Total: £528.44
And bills came in at £798.13 (this included my quarterly phone bill, an extra DD of £70 to Utilities, on top of the higher DD's already set up)
Total Total :rotfl:
£1326.57
I'm fairy pleased with that for my first month! I've overpaid on my credit card and utilities in September to
October is going to be a bit tighter, I've no 'spare money' at all and I have a few nights out and a £60 hen night to pay for (a very good friend, so I'll be finding the money from somewhere!
My first night out since my seperation was on Saturday, I'm ashamed to say I don't know exactly how much I spent, but I would questimate in the region of £65Yes, a massive amount of money for someone on my budget, I got carried away and these things happen. I'll need to shave off bits from my budget to compensate, teach myself a lesson!
No birthday this month, my Christmas savings club has ended (3 months before that starts up again) my Utility arrears should be paid off in the next two months and the car can be returned in another 5 payments. Then the pressure will ease up and I'll be able to throw more money at the debts (without the car and utility arreas, I'll be around £206 a month better off without petrol, insurance, finance and looking at my utilites I'll be about £26 gas and £27 electricity a reduction of about £112 on what I'm paying the now)
Trying some different tactics this month, see if it helps cut down any more, going to do a big monthly shop, meal plan and have my weekly spend diary, in stead of the monthly one.
That's it, I think! Hope everyone is ok.xxxxI'll get there!0 -
